High Adventure Snowmobile Tours cater to the Breckenridge area’s most adventurous riders and are designed for those seeking full-throttle access to Colorado’s deepest backcountry powder. If you’re craving the snowmobile ride of a lifetime amongst the Continental Divide’s most awe-inspiring peaks, look no further — these tours were created just for you. Featuring riding elevations above 12,500 feet, there’s no shortage of adrenaline to be had.
Designed specifically for single riders seeking an intense, off-trail experience in high alpine terrain, the High Adventure Tour is recommended for experienced riders or those with backgrounds in motocross, ATVs, personal watercraft, or similar equipment. Every rider is equipped with a Polaris 550 RMK snowmobile and a full-face helmet — purpose-built gear for the demanding terrain this tour accesses.
High Adventure Guided Snowmobile Tours in Breckenridge, Colorado
What sets the High Adventure Tour apart from other Breckenridge snowmobile tours is its focus on raw, off-trail riding in Colorado’s most challenging and rewarding alpine terrain. These tours maintain the smallest group sizes of any local tour, ensuring every rider receives personal attention from the guide and maximum freedom on the mountain. You won’t be riding groomed trails at a leisurely pace — you’ll be pushing into deep powder fields, carving through high alpine bowls, and exploring terrain that most visitors never get to experience.
The Polaris 550 RMK is purpose-built for exactly this kind of riding. Lightweight and powerful, it handles steep climbs and deep snow with ease, giving riders the confidence to tackle challenging terrain and fully enjoy the performance of their machine. Combined with the small group size and expert guidance, this is as close to a true backcountry snowmobile experience as you can get near Breckenridge, Colorado.
Previous snowmobile experience is recommended but not required. Our guides will provide clear instruction before departure so every rider feels confident heading into the mountains. Please note that double riding is not permitted on the High Adventure Tour due to the challenging nature of the terrain. For information on Colorado trail access and conditions, visit the Colorado Parks & Wildlife website.
