Single riders receive the nimble and capable Ski-Doo Renegade 600, while double riders are provided with Ski-Doo Grand Touring snowmobiles. Self-Guided Snowmobile Rentals Near Breckenridge, Colorado

The Vail Pass Winter Recreation Area offers over 55,000 acres of terrain for experienced and first-time riders alike.
A private lodge featuring a full-service restaurant serves as the base camp for your adventure, situated at the foot of the snowmobile trail network. Rentals are available in 2-hour, 4-hour, and 8-hour intervals, with various start times offered throughout the day beginning as early as 9:00 am. All machines must be returned by 5:00 pm. Guests are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to their scheduled rental start time for check-in.

Rental Requirements & Policies
- Guests must provide their own transportation to the snowmobile base camp. 4-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive is recommended and frequently required by Colorado State Law during times of heavy snowfall. Rentals operate in all conditions and are not canceled due to snow. Please plan accordingly.
- Helmets and trail maps are included with all rentals. Snowmobile suits, boots, and goggles are available for an additional charge.
- Drivers must be 16 years of age with a valid driver’s license to operate a snowmobile. Drivers must be 18 years of age or older to carry a passenger.
- Prices do not include a $20.00 per person National Forest Service Trail Use & Grooming Fee.
- A credit card imprint, serving as a damage deposit, is required on all rentals.
- A signed liability waiver is required prior to departure.
- All rentals have a 24-hour cancellation policy.
